Virginia SOAR Certification
The Virginia SOAR Certification program certifies social workers, case managers, and peer providers through a two-part process:

Workers must first complete the free, online 20-hour SOAR training or attend an approved SOAR Cohort Training
-
After completing the online training, potential SOAR workers must attend a one day, in person course review and certification session​​
Maintaining SOAR Certification
Certified SOAR workers can maintain their certification by:

Completing at least 2 applications every year

Attending quarterly regional SOAR meetings
-
Registering and reporting outcomes through OAT (online application tracking) system

Maintaining a professional Code of Conduct
